When you first enter the UMCData.com site, you will need to select the Conference with which you are associated.

On the next screen, you will see on the left, as in Figure 1, " Apply for an Account". Click on that link, and a sign-up form will load. Fill in all the requested information (fields marked with * are required.) Then click to "Go Next" button at the bottom.

The next page asks which function you are wanting to access. Click the drop-down arrow as shown in Figure 2, and click on the desired function name. Depending on your selection, the choices in the next two drop-lists will change. Make a selection from the second drop-list, and then the third, and fourth.

A text area is next in which to type the reason you need access to this function. This will be reviewed by the person(s) assigning access to determine if access is to be granted.

When finished with this entry, click the "Add Function" button. The function will be added to the list of functions pending access approval at the bottom of the screen. If there are no more Functions for which to request access, click the "Finish" button, and exit your web browser.
