Candidacy Tracking Module

The Candidacy Module is designed to track persons on any ministry track or in any step along the candidacy process from the first steps of Exploring the possibilities of entering ministry as a candidate through the last step of Probationary Elder, prior to being ordained a Full Elder of The United Methodist Church.

The module also tracks the history of those candidates who have begun the process and later were discontinued for various reason, or who never progressed and became inactive candidates.

As seen in the Candidacy Tracker form below, a combination of text fields with associated date fields and other selectors are available to track the steps of the candidacy process. Since conferences tend to be unique in how they track this information, the form is fully customizable to display each step of the process as defined by your conference using a combination of the various form tools shown.

The Candidacy Module also includes Reports which include such things as lists of Active candidates, Course of Study taken, Date Certified, contact information, and other details.

Mentors can be recorded by selecting the mentor from the existing persons listed in the MissionBase database, or by adding a new person.

Options are available to closely track progress through Course of Study courses.

Future plans for this module include expansion to track Lay Speaker, Certified Lay Speaker, and Lay Minister certifications.
